The Cha Project’s Cheenapara Heritage Walk (Deep Down in Chinatown) was led by Deepanjan Ghosh (Deep), radio talk show host, heritage enthusiast, archivist, and much more. The walk, which took more than 25 history buffs through the alleys and beelines of Tiretta Bazaar, was part of Sahapedia’s month-long Heritage Walk Festival organised in 15 cities across India. Also adding valuable insights and stories was prolific heritage blogger Rangan Dutta, one of the first heritage heroes to draw attention to the plight of old Chinatown.
